 MOVE UPDATE - POST OFFICE REQUIRED
Currently "Move Update/NCOA" is required by the Post Office no more than 180 days before mailing First Class mail. Starting November 23, 2008, the Post Office will require "Move Update/NCOA" no more than 90 days before mailing First Class or Standard Mail. We charge $3/M, $55 minimum, for this service.
Move updating is not the same as CASS certification which checks only for deliverable addresses. CASS certification, required by the POST Office for any postage discounts, is provided at no extra cost. Your mailing receipt from a previous qualified mailing satisfies Post Office requirements for move updating.
If address list is generated by a mail house, this requirement should be satisfied. Askthem for documentation.
